i've been accused me of "shameless name-dropping" in my songs, and i'm absolutely guilty. i always love it when i hear a song that name-checks something i'm familiar with, or something that perhaps i should become acquainted with...it's fuel for my (good) fire and at once makes me feel comfortably at home and also inspires me to educate my feeble head. you may consider this song to be going a bit overboard - and you'd be right as well - but i had some fun with it, and consider it a "shout-out" to a small set of folks who have at one time or another had me bouncing around the room like a drooling imbecile or brooding knowingly in my tea. it's all good, and they all deserve the attention....
